I'm giving this place 5 star as the room was beautiful and clean and amazingly cool...Townsville was burning hot ...we... had such great service by Nathan the manager and also Bee...its the cheapest stay that we could find ...Nathan did say we would have to spray ourselves with aerogard as they are in a swamp area...Belgian Gardens...but amazingly pretty close to The Strand...and the cheapest accommodation we found in Townsville City...thankyou so much! A really special find!read more
Went for a night stay and the room is quite open with enough space for 4 people. All amenities are on place and has a... good location too. Although we would have enjoy a newer or comfier mattress. You can feel the springs everywhere.read more
For our one night stay Our family double room was very tidy and the reception also provided and extra bed for our 3... year old at noon extra cost + a free bottle of milk , on the second night unforeseen circumstances ment we had to spend another night, the hotel was booked out fully but the staff made sure me and my children were not stranded on the side of the road and gave us their last room and a highly discounted price as all our holiday money was put towards our broken down car ,they tried their best to accommodate to us and we're very helpful in helping us find a he'd for the children to sleep on.read more
My 10 day stay was awesome the breakfast during the week was delicious. Room service never late. and the room was very... clean. I found that when Chilli Jam did the breakfast on the weekend the standard dropped considerably. I would suggest employing the week day chef for weekends.Thanks for the great stay and friendly service.read more

Thank you for making our wedding such a memorable, wonderful event! Tammarra, Nathan and all the team went above and... beyond to assist with everything from set up to checkout. The accommodation was beautiful and comfortable, the ceremony and reception were perfectly run, the food was excellent, bar service friendly and the grounds were perfect for our photos. All our vendors - celebrant, photographer, flowers, cake etc were accommodated beautifully thank you. Many of our guests also stayed the night and we all had a wonderful time. Even the buffet breakfast the next morning was exceptional. I can't recommended you enough for an event or just an overnight stay. We'll be back soon!read more

Seagulls is a fantastic place for a visit to Townsville Qld. Beautiful location and superior accommodations.The... grounds are a stand out here, kept immaculate and very calming. Fastidiously clean pools for both adults and children. Breakfasts and all other meals in the restaurant are top notch food and the staff are friendly and attentive..Front office are always on the ball with new local tours and events. Really enjoyed my short stay here and wished it was longer.read more
